With
an EduTrainer® or any PLC, you can control the process of
your choice. The programmer (PC), controller and process model
are connected via various interfaces.
The
benefits of the EduTrainer® over PLCs as used in industrial

SysLink universal I/O interface socket– the link to all
Festo Didactic equipment sets
Converts
16 input signals and 16 output signals (24 V) into serial
data for the PC's RS-232 interface. To transmit more I/Os,
up to four EasyPorts can be coupled using the fiber-optic
cable supplied.
